ICI and ICI Global Response to ANPRM on Data Security

ICI and ICI Global submitted a letter to the US Department of Justice on its advance notice of proposed rulemaking, which seeks comment regarding the contemplated establishment of a program that would prohibit or restrict the transfer of US Government-related data or bulk US sensitive personal data to countries of concern. The ANPRM is an initial step in implementing regulations under Executive Order 14117 of February 28, 2024, “Preventing Access to Americans’ Bulk Sensitive Personal Data and United States Government-Related Data by Countries of Concern.”
