As you know, the next meeting of the SEC Rules Committee will take place on Thursday, February 8th.  The meeting will take place at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th Floor, 12:00 noon – 3:30 pm Eastern time.  Lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. 

Our guest speakers for this meeting will be Jeff Dinwoodie and John Cook, Senior Advisors to SEC Chairman Jay Clayton.  Our guest speakers will discuss SEC priorities relating to registered funds and advisers.  A draft agenda for the meeting is attached to this memorandum.  If you plan to attend the meeting, please register by visiting our registration site at www.ici.org/reg/sec.  Please include on the online form any other topics you would like to discuss with other members at the meeting. 

For those members attending the meeting in person in Washington, D.C., we plan to hold a dinner with ICI staff the evening of Wednesday, February 7th.  If you plan to attend the dinner, please register to attend via the link below no later than Tuesday, January 30th.  Dinner attendees will be charged $115.00.  Please note that if you cancel within 72 hours of the dinner, your payment will not be refunded.
